Known for their striking blue hues, Sapphire stones are known for their impeccable durability and preciousness. But blue sapphire and ruby are not the only stones belonging to the corundum family. The so-called “fancy sapphires,” which come in violet, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple, are also part of the family.
